Furze and Ackley is a name that has been synonymous with eyeglasses and contacts in the local area for seventy years. We serve the public by filling eyeglass prescriptions, fitting eyeglasses, and dispensing contacts as well as repairing eyeglasses at our present location on Main Street in Bridgeport, just about 1/2 mile below the Trumbull line.

 

WE ARE HAPPY TO VISIT HOMES, HOSPITALS, AND NURSING HOMES AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Also, Mr. Ackley had a special needs brother and is more than happy to assist other special needs individuals such as visiting their homes to adjust their eye glasses. At our location, there is free parking and it is handicap accessible. The owner, Jonathan Ackley is highly experienced with over 50 years in the business. The staff at Furze and Ackley Optical are very experienced and knowledgeable to fit your desired needs.
